John Morris is a co-founder of Exos Partners and comes to the firm from Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., where he spent over twenty five years serving the needs of individual investors and independent advisors. John’s career included branch management, mutual fund trading and operations, and asset management product development - including mutual funds, separately managed accounts, alternative investments, insurance and annuities. John was a key player in the development and growth of Schwab’s revolutionary Mutual Fund OneSource® platform. He built the separately managed accounts business into one of the nation’s largest by creating an open architecture platform for independent investment advisors.

John received his BS degree in Economics from Allegheny College and earned his MBA from the University of San Francisco. He is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association and is a past Governor of the Money Management Institute. John is married with two children and lives in Orinda, California.
